Lee needed our support. Our team has been by his side all the way and now his relationship with his daughter is stronger than ever.
So, we took the opportunity to share his experience. Lee* explains here:
Falsely accused
I had been falsely accused and suffered violence from my ex.
Panic
I really panicked when I received a non-molestation order. The proceedings went on and on. Unable to see my daughter for over a year, I became desperate.
Judge recommended CASS+
The judge recommended that I speak to CASS+. They explained what was going on and accompanied me into court. I’m so thankful. I could not have done this on my own. I would have been lost without them.
Back with my daughter – stronger than ever
I’m now back with my daughter two days a week, fitting in with my shifts.
If it hadn’t been for CASS+
I really needed the support through the Family court.
If it hadn’t been for CASS+, I don’t think I would be seeing much of my daughter at all. Instead, we’re back to a healthy father and daughter relationship. It’s stronger than ever.
Support through court is out there
I’m doing this interview because I want people to know that support is out there. I count myself very lucky to have friends and family. I know there are many people going through the family courts who feel isolated and really need help from charities like CASS+.
People without legal representation
Anyone who goes through the court without legal representation needs to know that CASS+ is here for them.
