[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Do you have a passion for supporting people through the criminal justice system? Perhaps you want to make a difference in your community? Or maybe you understand the need to steer people through this complex system?
No two days will ever be the same at Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court. You will be guiding defendants, witnesses, victims and their families who are in crisis. Working sensitively and confidentially, you will quickly identify their needs and get them the help they need, supporting them all the way.
You will be an excellent communicator and have an understanding of external agencies and services, along with a proven track record of administration, accurate data entry and efficient organisation of files.
We hold the lifetime achievement of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. You will understand the importance of volunteers and the difference they make in our community. You will enjoy motivating, supervising, coaching and training these people who dedicate time and energy to our cause, enabling them to grow their skills, knowledge and experience.
You will be fully supported with our inhouse wellbeing and training programmes, enabling you to get better at what you do.
You will be part of a team focussed on reducing the risk of re-offending. Inside Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court and beyond, we are respected for the impact we make in the lives of the people who come through our door.
