Thanks to funding from the Social Enterprise Support Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund our team can continue their vital support for anyone going through the Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court. Newton Abbot is the most recent CASS+ service for Devon and Cornwall. Court staff have been sending people their way and they have already supported 56 individuals in the first half of 2022. Here’s what one of our clients said after getting the help they needed:
‘You gave me hope. I will not let you down. I believe there will be a tomorrow and I will make you proud.’
Huge thanks to all you National Lottery players out there for making this possible. The National Lottery Community Fund is the largest funder of community activity in the UK. This grant for Newton Abbot has been distributed by Resonance Ltd. The Social Enterprise Support Fund provides rapid financial support to help social enterprises in England focussed on supporting their communities to recover from the pandemic. The Social Enterprise Support Fund is a two-year project, delivered by Big Issue Invest, Key Fund, Resonance, the School for Social Entrepreneurs and UnLtd, in partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund and will jointly deliver £18million in grants. We’re so honoured to have been selected and relieved that our team in Newton Abbot can continue to reach out to their community.
