The CASSPLUS Elf delivery this year was supported with donations from CASSPLUS teams, Court partners and the Livewell Specialist Community Forensic Team, who nominated us as their charity for Xmas. 20 vulnerable clients (including several families) received a lovely mix of gifts, toiletries and xmas food and we have received several lovely messages of thanks which have been both humbling and heartwarming;
“To think of me at this time is overwhelming and I thank you from the bottom, of my heart….to say I’m in a bad place at this time would be an understatement….you were the talk of ###House and brought more tears, but for all the right reasons.” (Mother; son sentenced to prison)
“It’s your organisation that saved me from the streets and the judicial system’s revolving door…you stood by me through some of the worst times of my life…I have the utmost respect and love for you all.” (Stable and recovering addict).
