We have been named as a flagship service in a new guide published by the Centre for Justice Innovation.

We’ve been working with the Centre for Justice Innovation and our service was recently evaluated by Crest Advisory. The key evidence in the Crest Report (2022) is that we’re making a real difference because we’re in exactly the right place at the right time, inside the courts in Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Bodmin and Truro. Their professional research demonstrates that we save the public purse and reduce demand on the Justice System. Additionally, this is an independent evaluation from a respected source so we can present our case and access funding with confidence.

We have a vision to grow our service across the UK

Basically, the new toolkit and guide from the Centre for Justice Innovation gives you a step-by-step guide to setting up your own advice and support service in your local court. We’re proud to be acknowledged as a flagship service that improves wellbeing with tailored solutions and emotional support at court.

The Centre for Justice Innovation shares our six principles for effective support at court and into a more positive future:

  1. Get support
  2. Define who the service will work with
  3. Define the model
  4. Design the service
  5. Secure funding
  6. Evaluate

Do you share our vision?

We’re really passionate about what we do. We will never give up on our vision for free advice and support to be available in every court. All in all, we’re determined to have access to effective community networks for all court users in the UK. We’ve been doing this since 2005 so we know what to do as we have a tried and tested model.

Let’s work together so that anyone feeling alone at court and trapped in the system can get the support they need at court and into life beyond.

How can we help you?

We’re passionate about what we do. We have 18 years’ experience and we’d love to work with you to make this happen in your local court.

Please get in touch if you want advice & support to be available at your local court: admin@cassplus.org.

We will show you how to do it.
