Join our Board of Trustees – Secretary role
Are you passionate about joining a well-established community advice service based in Devon and Cornwall? We offer support and advice to defendants, families and other members of the public who are at risk or have been processed through the criminal justice system, helping them find the practical and emotional resources and services that they need to rebalance their lives. CASSPLUS is run mainly by volunteers, headed by a small paid team and is currently based in Magistrates’ Courts in Plymouth, Bodmin, Truro and Newton Abbot.
Do you want to expand your activities and possibly your c.v.? Do you have previous legal experience or experience closely allied to legal matters and would be interested in applying this to the voluntary sector?
CASSPLUS is seeking a Secretary to support the Board of Trustees and key managerial staff. The Board meets every three months.
We encourage Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic applications and from those under 50 or with disabilities. The role is unpaid but reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
For more information about CASSPLUS and/or for an application pack, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, enquire via our website www.cassplus.org or drop in to speak to any of our staff at your local Magistrates’ Courts.
Deadline for application is midnight on 23rd February. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview. Successful applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.
